Founder of The Unknown, MIster Black began his musical journey at the youthful age of 8, with a drum kit and a need for musical expression. This need formed the basis for what would become the foundation of his music career. Not one to rest, Mister Black explored many personal interests before finding what would become his next noise-making instrument. With a strong sense of rhythm, his proficiency with turntables came naturally. At only 19, he quickly made a strong impression on his home city nightclubs with his explosive energy and unique technical mixing style, he has since become a local nightclub favorite – winning his city's top DJ award three times in the past 4 years. He is noted as one of the few DJs who can feel equally at home keeping crowds happy in the hottest nightclubs, as he is on stage at electronic music events. Even with a busy studio and gig schedule, MIster Black continues to maintain ongoing residencies and appearances at premier local and national venues.
